MetraPark - First Interstate Arena Concerts

Went to Journey/Toto concert. The concert was excellent. However very disappointed in the service and crowd management to get into the arena, stood in line for 1 1/2 hours before able to get in. Extremely understaffed and disorganized, poorly executed! I have gone to several venues some that hold 80,000 fans or more and never did I wait more than 30-40 min at the most to get in. In Billings Metra- 1 1/2 hours to get in- very disappointing, great entertainment, poor crowd execution!

The line from the upper parking lot was almost to the top of the stairs for the Bryan Adams concert. They only had two of the 4 metal detectors going. When we were going through the door, then an employee came out directing people behind us to the far entrance that didn't have a line. Get your act together, and pay attention to the flow of attendees and get people in sooner. Very poor customer management.

Clean, organized and friendly. Excellent concert and seating. Will definitely be there more frequently.

Very good arena. But big. Musicians far away. Good large screens. Good sound systems. Sit on front sidelines if possible. Avoid main floor seating if you are back. Too many waving people blocking your view.

I always enjoy going to the fair at the metra. The art exhibits are always so amazing and inspiring to see, as are the 4H exhibits. The fair always seems to be adding new vendors every year as well, be it food or clothing and item vendors, their is always something new to see and experience. I would also recommend getting the value pass. The Meta has put one some great shows and concerts during the fair, and it is totally worth it, even if you only attend one show.
