Broome County Forum Theatre Concerts 2024

This is a good place to watch a show. It is older, but it is maintained very well. The seating does feel a little cramped. It is not an inexpensive venue. There is no free parking. You can expect to pay $10 for event parking if you want to park close. There are refreshments available, including alcoholic beverages, but they are very expensive for what you get. The acoustics were great for the opera I attended most recently, and do not remember them ever being bad.

Nice old theater. Viewing is better on the lower level rather than balcony. Always makes a nice evening to see a show at the forum.

Great show overall (Hairspray, 2nd night). We sat a little closer to the back (row y), and had a little trouble hearing. Also, seating was a little uncomfortable. I know it is too late now, but if they staggered the rows to the right and left, it would create a better viewing lane if you have someone taller in front of you, Iooking over 2 shoulders instead of over/through 1 head. Danielle at the refreshment stand was amazing, you got to hold on to her! Fun and personable!

Saw "Jesus Christ Superstar" on Thurs., April.25, 2024, at 7:30pm. Really great show, loved it! Will be seeing "Shrek: The Musical", in 2 weeks, on Thurs., May.9,2024, also at 7:30pm.

Wonderful restored historical performance venue. Parking can be a challenge, so be early just in case.
