Awesome experience getting to see Hozier. One of the best concerts I've been to in awhile. We sat in the middle section and it's good seating. You have to watch out if you have a taller person in front of you because that can block your view.

Excellent concert venue, even if the parking can get a bit chaotic at times. Food and drink options aren't bad, but are definitely expensive, which is pretty normal for any venues like this. Regardless, when the weather is nice, you really can't beat a good show under the stars.

My husband and I saw Hozier and Allison Russell and this was my first experience at Oak Mountain Amphitheater. Tickets were pricey but I had been looking forward to this show so I was willing to pay. That being said our seats were still technically the “cheap seats”. We were in section 304 and up in row DD and it was much higher up than I had thought. The sound was still great and I felt like visibility was fine but we were packed in like sardines. The seats in the 300’s are built like plastic playground seats with NO room for any kind of movement. This would be fine if that didn’t also mean that you are going to be very close to your neighbors. Don’t let my picture fool you, if you are even close to plus size you are in for a bad time. I don’t know if this holds true to the seats in other sections. The venue had a clear bag policy so I put everything in my coat pockets and was able to get in much faster than if I had put my things in a bag. Every website seemed to have a different time for doors, some saying the show starts at 7, some 7:30, and one even said 8. They let us inside the area with drinks, a food truck, and few concession stands at 5:45ish. They didn’t let us in to get to our seats till close to 7:10. Leaving concerts is never fun but because most people park in the same lot, everyone in the venue gets bottle-necked and backed up and makes leaving worse because they had one of the exits blocked off. The show ended at about 10:30 and overall it took about 45 minutes for us to get to our car and out of the lot (it took 3 mins to walk in from parking when we got there). Overall I might go again if I can justify paying premium for a lower seat. Not because I want to be closer, but because I want to be able to stand without touching the people on either side of me the whole time.

Came here for a couple of concerts. 3Doors Down, and Nickleback. Nice outdoor venue unless it starts raining. Nickleback waited out the storm with us and continued the concert instead of canceling. Was a memorable experience.

I love this venue but they need more places to cover from the rain. We went to see Nickelback, and we got absolutely drenched and poured on. They were handing out free rain ponchos, but of course, you aren't going to have enough. I like that it's kind of nestled away. I hate the stupid stands where you scan your ticket under it, just shows we're going to slowly run out of jobs for people to do. They have got to have a better system and a communication process for delays in storms. It took them forever to call a delay when it was lightning literally above us. They can get sued if someone gets struck by lightning.
