Coney Island Amphitheater Concerts 2024

Concert starts at 8pm as advertised. Arrived at 7:50pm and there was a long line that stretched for blocks on the boardwalk. The security lines moved extremely slow, they were checking people one at a time. It was 9:15 by the time we reached security and the concert was half over, everyone was pissed. They should have advertised the event to start an hour earlier and they should have more metal detectors. Worst experience getting into a concert. Event organizer and security are incompetent

I would never, ever advise going to a concert here, especially if it was your first time. I was overjoyed to attend the concert on May 11 and 24, and I had a great time. But it quickly became one of the worst concert experiences ever. First of all, people constantly step over the boundaries. I could tell that the personnel was doing nothing but standing around. The concert started at 20:00, and I was still in line to enter as of 21:30. We're sitting outside, listening to the musician sing inside, and the wind is making me sick because it was so incredibly cold today. After waiting for one and a half hours to check in, the crew refuses to let us in because our suitcase is too large. Why didn't the flight attendant inform us at the start that we could leave our bag in the car? The tall white guy is extremely rude and harsh in his interactions with people. I implore you to think about these things before coming to an event here.

Concert starts at 8, inline since 7:25pm, and now 8:35pm. Still not in and seems like another hour to come in. Very bad management.

The concert started at 8pm, I can even check in at 9pm, the artists were singing inside, the audiences were listening at the super long line outdoor. The stuffs were staffs stand around and doing nothing. This place gave me a very bad experience. Not recommended to have concerts here. I rated 1 star, not because it worth 1 star, just it is the lowest rating in the system, otherwise I will rate negative scores.

Great place for a venue! Covered with seating and concessions. I'm not sure if the concessions were venue ran, but it wasn't that great. There was security there. Summer Stage event with Skip Marley was spectacular per the usual. It's always a vibe when he's on stage. DJ Sparks was a vibe also. I completely fell in love with her set and can see why she is a part of Tuff Gong. She is hard to forget and easy to love.
