Buffalo Riverworks Concerts 2024-2025

Funny thing! I always recommend my out of town customers to check out riverworks, and this was my actual 1st time! I love the atmosphere, all the industrial looking art. It's absolutely wonderful that the history of the industrial era of our city is not destroyed but preserved and repurposed in places like Buffalo riverworks. We started out with chicken tot- chos. It was so good! It might look like a garbage plate, but the smoke beer queso brings all the flavors together. It's a big plate, too! I had a fish reuben, good, but i prefer the original sandwich and lindenberry sour. My daughter had a bacon jam burger - one of the tastiest burgers i have ever had. My niece had fish fry - she loved it. My son had his usual-chicken fingers.

Visiting RiverWorks often is now going to be a thing of the past. We ordered a large cheese pizza and BBQ wings and received quite literally the worst of both. The wings were extremely small and dry, like they have been sitting out for hours. The sauce was awful and cold and also tasted like it had been sitting out for hours. When I asked if the sauce or something has changed, the waiter tells me it has, then proceeds to bring a disgusting cup of the new sauce to our table for us to try before they remake our wings. Then comes the pizza, hard and undercooked. The taste resembled an unflavored brick with grease. Interestingly enough the prices have drastically increased when compared to 2023 prices, which also confuses me due to the quality actually getting worse. It truly saddens me to have to make this review because coming here was always our first choice of restaurant, especially because of the view. The decrease in quality has really left us with no choice but to go somewhere else.

I am so impressed with this venue. It's massive! It didn't get overwhelmingly hot like some smaller venues (granted, I was not in the pit). They have plenty of food options. Security was plenty. Would definitely return.

Saw Excision, it was pretty neat! Pyros, lights, and smoke, very vibe. The staff was all very friendly, professional, there was a bouncer that we bonded with over our mutual love for seals lol. Haven't been to a concert in like ten+ years so the power of the speakers surprised me pleasantly. Even when we were in the back we could feel it. What really made me like this venue is they had seating. I know it's likely more for people at the bar but now that I know we can bring our friend who has a slipped disk and can't stand for two+ hours. Bar staff was friendly. Soda for 5$, alcohol starts around 10$ as I saw. The mini arcade is also super fun and only a 1$ a play which is generous. Had a blast. Only critism, wish the light show was a little more but you can only do what you can do. 🤷‍♂️ It was great. If you are confused about the entrance, go toward the ferris wheel and you will find it. :)

Food was absolutely terrible. Ordered 2 lbs of wings… which were ridiculously overpriced and less than 20 total. Not only were they overpriced, but the wings were small and sauces were terrible. They wouldn’t split flavors for 1lb, which most places do, so my friend and I went with 2 in order to get a “better deal”. Service was slow. My friend left his sunglasses there on accident. We were the last ones there, we left at 9. He realized by the time we got to resurgence and went back, but they were all closed down even though it said open until 9:15. He tried calling before getting there, no answer. He called 3 times the next day and no one answered the phone. The server was the only one who could’ve been to our table to pick up the signed bill (because as I said, no one else was there), so obviously this person saw the sunglasses. Prescription, super nice. No where to be found, just gone. Service, food, attention to detail… all sucked. Only reason why it’s getting 2 stars and not 1 is because I liked the beer on tap.
