The Pavilion at Star Lake Concerts 2024

This is a classic venue that hosts great shows, but the parking is absolutely abysmal. My first ever concert was at this venue: Steely Dan in 2016. I've since seen OneRepublic in 2017, and The Doobie Brothers in 2022. Although the parking is a nightmare, even having made the news for how bad it is, I would return to this venue if a favorite artist of mine stopped by

So, the venue itself is awesome. Gets a little cramped with how many people show up. But, its an awesome experience being with all those people at once. Bathrooms are way up top in the back but easily accessible. Got to see D & C twice there. First time we missed the whole first set because we were stuck in traffic on the way in. Second one, ( the 2023 sold out one where many people completely missed the show and wanted a refund) we left like six hours before the show and still barely made it for showtime. Now, the venue again is great, food and merchandise spots are easy to see and use. However, parking, traffic and organization over driving patterns is just horrible. No matter how you get there, you will end up in one lane sitting there for hours just to get in to the venue. Then, getting out you back out of your spot then sit there for like an hour before leaving. It's just horrible. Almost torture really. They need to somehow open up another lane or some other way in to starlake. Or get more shuttles in and out? There is a lot of free land around the area so maybe get some people to park and walk? A lot needs changed here and I hope it does in the coming years. I feel like it's bad enough that people will come for one concert, see how horrible it is going in and not come back (probably close to my stance).

It was our first time here, and we'll for sure be back. It's a fun, laid-back venue that throws some pretty good shows. There are a bunch of food options. All the ones we tried in particular were amazing. Doesn't seem like you can really go wrong with what you get. The drinks are on the pricey side, but that's to be expected. We had a great time at this venue. Reminded us a lot of Merryweather in Maryland.

Excellent 1st time HERE!!!!!! Facilities well maintained. Plenty of Porta-Johns everywhere. By the end of any concerts are going to be pretty full so that wasn't surprising. To the people who sit down to go to the bathroom you might want to bring a roll of toilet paper just to wipe off the seat. That's more on the concertgoers than the venue. Big screens everywhere so no matter where you're sitting you can pretty much see a up close video center stage. Went to see the Outlaw Tour. The facility's commitment to make the concert happen despite rain storms is amazing! Drainage on the grounds were excellent considering the downpour we had no huge puddles. The parking lot was as good as it could get. Suggestion: if you know it's gonna rain.. bring 2 pair of shoes/boots/flip-flops or whatever you wear. People were grilling out sitting out in their lawn chairs in the parking lot, pretty fun lot scene. Nobody was being stupid most people were being totally respectable although that is a Willie Nelson crowd. Thank you for making my first Willie Nelson concert an extraordinary event!!!! Excellent first time here. Will definitely go see more shows at this venue. FYI taking pictures in the rain of the screens did not lend to give you guys very good pictures I apologize for that.

Absolutely wonderful venue. All of the staff we encountered were great. The layout is very functional with the restrooms and concessions being easily accessible. I definitely recommend paying extra and getting Remax Select Party Deck tickets. We were protected from the weather with a roof and they serve adult beverages right there !
