Mother s Day Buffet evening Unfortunately, somewhat below what we had hoped for. In general, wait staff was friendly and quick. Had heard of the new chef, so was wondering how it was for Food quality now since it had been a while since we went there. It was much as before, disappointing. A few good points, meat station, dessert, salad bar. Nothing outstanding tonight otherwise Found the New Chef off duty so yep, the quality we had hoped for wasn't there. A few excuses made, we left . Too bad old habits keep dragging the experience from a very nice meal to mundane food fare , especially on a special menu night,Mothers Day. We did pay full price either way. :(

I am a local and have come to this Casino for years. I have never had problems before but in the past 6 months the kiosk is terrible. The promotions have become so terrible I mean seriously I'm an emerald and receive 10 to 15 dollars twice a week. If you get them at all. The players club employees are rude and unhelpful. Don't even try to get ahold of the Marketing department 🙄 😒. So disappointed in Black Bear Casino. At this point I will go elsewhere.

Went for breakfast. The buffet was great, and our waitress very nice and prompt removing dirty dishes. Cons. The bathroom stall in restaurant needs to be scrubbed down, although rest of bathroom is clean. Went in gift shop, instruct the staff to stay off their phone please, the whole time I was in there she was towards the back of the shop on it. That is poor customer service and I walked out without buying because of that.

Had the Prime Rib and Shrimp buffet on 12/15. 15 varieties of shrimp, the ones I tried were great. Au gratin potatoes awesome. Clam chowder meat and tasty. Really came hungry for prime rib, but was disappointed, it was overdone and dry. Could not finish it after it cooled off. Cold, tough and dry. Desserts were excellent as usual. Our server was mostly absent. The dining room host had to get our drink refills, she was a delightful lady.

Just stopped by after work to drop a couple bucks in the machine. Very nice and clean. My luck hasn't changed Plenty to do there. Restaurants, good shows, nice Hotel. Buffet. Next time Bingo.
