Bojangles Coliseum Concerts 2024

First time being at this location for a concert. Arrived super early to avoid the traffic that can happen off independence. Parking was super easy to navigate (I think since we arrived super early) and were able to get parking right in front. They started letting people enter around 7 pm, and even though huge lines gathered in the front, the moment they opened the doors, the lines moved quickly and efficiently. The lines inside to get drinks or food also were LONG, but they did move quickly. The only ones where you were stuck in a bit were the bathroom lines. Those you were in there for a while, but everyone was trying to move quickly. Overall, it was a great experience here. Security and staff were wonderful, and everything was easy to locate and no confusion.

The Winter Jam event at Bojangles Coliseum was an amazing experience overall. The venue offers great seats, an adequate general area, and impressive acoustics. On-site parking with wheelchair access is convenient, but there are some downsides, including tacky floors leading to falls, unmarked steps, and inadequate restrooms for large crowds. A helpful tip for future attendees is to use the second entrance, just a few hundred feet away, to avoid long lines for parking. Despite the minor drawbacks, the overall recommendation for Bojangles Coliseum remains positive for any event.

It's always a good time. Bojangles food is hot & fresh. Free parking = awesome sauce! Don't forget to bring your cowbell! (Pic is before the game started, so people were still making their way in.)

My purchasing of my ticket at the box office went extremely smooth...I'll do that again...The staff and ushers were helpful and tentative for the comedy show I attended...The food and drinks are not of my liking health wise, but the crowd that staff catered to appeared excited and pleased...From concerts, comedy, graduation to hockey I've had great experiences at Bojangles Arena...The last frontier would be to have healthier food and drink choices...

Not handicap friendly. My 91 year old father moved in with me and I wanted to take him to some games. He relies on a compact folding scooter. When I contacted the Checkers about handicap seating, they couldn't tell me what sections and how to obtain a ticket. Same when I contacted the arena itself. Only when I went to a game with my son, did a helpful usher show me where I could score the scooter and I figured that there's 2 rows only that he can sit it to make it to. Went to the Salute to Heroes game yesterday (April 20, 2024) and let go on one of the ushers. First off, where the handicap sit, she said he could not sit there, it's reserved and there were no other areas. Normally there's a section covered off I can slide his scooter into but there didn't have any this time. I asked her if I could keep the scooter in the handicap seating area as there was enough space but was told no. I was in the 109-110 section. I moved the scooter as close to the empty handicap area chairs as I could while myself and several people helped my dad walk from the aisle to several rows up and in the process, she came over and told me I couldn't leave it there. That's when I lost it because she could clearly see what I was doing and never gave me a chance so I yelled at her to get out of my face and leave me alone. Once I got him seated, I rolled his scooter around until I could find someone who let me store it by the entrance. The handicapped should not have to go through this and you should have a guest relations that you can easily find!
