Ting Pavilion Reviews

Great outdoor venue! The staff were so so kind and the pavilion was shaded which was really nice for a July concert. Prices for drinks were not bad although many of the vendors were cash only.

I used to think Ting was a cool, alternative, community-based internet & phone service, but I suppose as many companies succeed and get bigger, more or less, their priorities change and become more or less like every other corporate suit, looking out for number one and top dollar. In my case, I was in the midst of moving and needed internet in the interim, and bumping up my phone’s data plan seemed to be the safe bet. The bet has not been without cost, and whatever savings I have achieved I must calculate against the dollar a hour online with the tech lack-of-support, as well as late access to and completely missed teleconference calls (just for starters). I don’t know if I could recommend them to anyone anymore, especially the poor or disabled. Not particularly accommodating, even if they are bound to do so by the language of their own contract. Too long, didn’t read: Their own materials state that for their Set 5, 5 GB of fast data plan, all 5 GB can be used as a hotspot, and that following the 5GB of fast data, data / internet will not be cut off, but 2 GB speeds will be accessible. To which a chat agent at the company happily assured me that on the Verizon phone network, most users wouldn’t even notice a speed difference after the 5 GB limit was passed. All of this to say, with heavy heart, can’t really recommend this company anymore, but I suppose if you need an alternative to Sprint, you could try them.

One of the louder venues I've been to. The seats are tiny, and the floor angle slight, so whether you're tall or short you may have issues enjoying the show. Overall, the venue is very unorganized but, on a positive note, everyone working there was extremely nice.

There was a ton of rain and the pavilion had water running down the sidewalks. That could be dangerous for people. Other than that, the sound was amazing and the security were nice. The light people and stage workers also did a fantastic job. I don’t know if these people come with the bands or the Ting people help them.
