Avondale Music Hall Concerts 2024-2025

Tagged along with a friend for one of her favorite bands, Wind Rose (Dwarven Metal!). Really liked the layout of the hall. Merch was easily accessible at any time, bathroom stalls were well maintained throughout the show. The old cafe area was left open to give people a chance to cool down. Stage set up and audio was pretty awesome. I've been to a few venues now where they don't mix the audio well. This is the opposite of that. Bars have a pretty extensive drink menu, including non alcoholic drinks. No food items, fyi.

If they have a concert here for your favorite artist book it! This place is great for concert goers who like a more personal experience with music and smaller crowd. The only thing I didn't like was the bar had a limited selection.

I say 3 stars, friend says 2. The shotgun setup was really unfriendly to us short girls and made the sound quality kinda mid. If the stage could have been taller, maybe the 6ft+ metalheads in front could have made the show less unpleasant. Add tall bar seats on the edge and in the back? Could have used some accommodation post-knee surgery. No problem with the staff. Efficient and not jerks. Bar was still open after show which was great for hydration.

Cool small music venue that supports a lot of rock acts, specifically punk and metal. Staff was super chill, made good drinks, and the show was awesome. I think it’s the first one I’ve been to where the acts performed right on the floor since the band requested it (there is a stage in the venue); it was awesome and speaks to the level of respect they have for the bands that play there. Awesome experience

The venue is doing everything it can to make it hard to enjoy a good artist. No one was let in off the street, in winter, until half an hour after showtime. Just... no seats? Pre-performance music of just a bass beat vibrating your soul for another half hour while you sit on the hard floor before it started. This wasn't a rave, it was an art performance. Live dj just kept going loudly and needed to read the room. Also half the bathroom stalls non-functioning. Might have been fine if they set expectations differently. Would watch artist again, will not return to venue.
