CIBC Theatre Concerts

The CIBC theater is a wonderful space. The orchestra seating is very intimate and much smaller than other theaters downtown. I would not recommend sitting in the back half of the orchestra as the mezzanine above you blocks your view severely. There are several support columns that also obstruct views and are difficult to avoid from the back half. The front half of the balcony is wonderful and gives the best full views of the stage. We love seeing shows here!!

Just saw Boop! the musical here. EXCELLENT SHOW!!! Very high quality and well executed production. Nice storyline which was very engaging and entertaining, there was no part of the show that was slow or boring. I would highly recommend it. The seating in the theater was nice and was very classy. Bathrooms were clean and the bar was well stocked.

The CIBC theater is a wonderful Chicago landmark theater in the heart of downtown. It was easy to find our seats and there were plenty of bathrooms on the second floor. We also appreciate that they have a bartender on a few of the floors but they probably need to have more than one servicing everybody. The sound was excellent and every seat was a good seat.

The staff were helpful and cordial. The play I went to (To Kill A Mockingbird) was good. The seats could be a lot better for the price of the tickets. Also, the stairs ( lots of them) aren't very accessible. To accommodate huge crowds every day, something could be changed.

Employees were amazing. Show was amazing! Everything was clean. Just make sure you have an extra ticket for your baby. They were very accepting of our 4 month old, but he was a perfect boy.
