Smoke & Mirrors Concerts 2024-2025

I really enjoyed the vibe and music but was charged for drinks that I didn’t order and had to contest it with my credit card company. I noticed other people posted the same thing in their reviews too. Proceed with caution as they are doing some shady stuff here, ensure you get printed or emailed receipts. Here’s my example, I went to the bar only 2 times and paid for coat check and the next day had 10 charges.

Phone got stolen at this bar on a Friday night. The staff are great at trying to help out, but the people that attend this club are suss and people need to be warned. I had three people at the club tell me they had also gotten their phone's stolen that night. Be warned. Vibe also kind of sucks.

I got a glass cup thrown on me from a random person in the audience leaving my face bloody and injured causing me to have to the ER and get stitches. I know this is not the venue's fault but I really wish they had security in the main floor to make sure things like this don't happen and I've been trying to get in contact with them so I can identify who did this to me, I don't know if they have cameras or anything but I had to pay for a medical bill and treatments. This is not to say the people there are terrible because they were also making sure I was ok but I need somebody to be held accountable for what happened to me. Please be careful out there.

Come here with my friends. This is the spot! Truly a hidden gem in Logan Square. Definitely worth checking out if you’re getting into the scene, everyone’s pretty much there to vibe and have a good time. They have a coat service and sofa area. DJs here are up and coming… you never know just how good the set will be. The volume of the music is some how just right every time, loud enough to turn up and have a meaningful convo in the sofa area.

I was skeptical about coming here due to the mixed reviews that were posted prior to this one, but I am relieved to say that my experience here was 10/10. From security & coat check to the bartenders & crowd, everyone was VERY friendly and had set a good vibe. Went to the Tinzo + Jojo dj set on a Friday night and the sound was just *chefs kiss*….divine. One thing I will say that is a bit flawed is that there is no phone number to be able to contact them at, however I did get in contact with someone through their instagram page (@smokeandmirrorschicago). I asked several questions on the evening of the show through different messages at different times and i had all my questions answered at a fair response time. Depending on who’s performing, I would be back here to dance all night if I know the music is gonna bring in a crowd with good vibes like it did on my first visit :)
