Short North Church Concerts 2025

The Short North Church is a truly beautiful setting for a candlelight concert. The Cap City Quartet is spectacular and will not disappoint! The musician’s talent, charm and passion made the intimate concert even more magical and beautiful.

This was our 3rd Candlelight show. We also attended the Valentine's show and the Christmas show, both held at the Statehouse. I do prefer that setting over the church. Parking at the Church was horrible and honestly a very sketchy area out back. The church was nice, beautiful architecture, the stained glass windows and of course all of the candles. The sound was good too. Unfortunately, and of no fault to the Candlelight folks, but two "ladies" were very rude up in the balcony 4-5 people down from us, opened two snack sized bag of chips, we could here the rustling of the bags over the performers. Unreal, but wait, there's more. One of them then opened a can of pop, during the performance. Unreal, hahaha, these two, and judging by the looks of them, have never been to a classy event. Outside of that "entertainment", it was amazing. Coldplay is a great band and the musicians did a beautiful job bringing it all to life. We are looking forward to the next show.

Beautiful experience. Very talented musicians. The atmosphere was very soothing. We loved it! Highly recommend it.

Joining the community of Short North Church in early 2019 was the best decision I’ve made in my life. I had spent many years searching for an inclusive and affirming church the would love ALL of me, including the messy parts of my life. I have been kicked out of other church communities because of my gender identity and sexuality, so finding a church that accepts and supports me is a life changer. I can be myself without the fear of being harassed or looked down upon. Pastor Amy has been a huge support through my mental and physical health crises over the last 5 years and has never stopped cheering me on. The members of the church have been so loving and supportive as well. I receive no less than 10 hugs each visit and many of the members have taken the time to truly get to know me for me.

We thoroughly enjoyed their performance of Adele songs. We loved the venue and the music was great. Looking forward to seeing them perform again!!
