This place is only improving! Everytime I go the experience and bands get better. They have cleaned it up a ton and set a real good vibe. Last two years have been notable with the improvements. Keep booking solid acts!

Went on Friday night off season May 10. It was very slow maybe 20 people in entire place. It did not smell like smoke, which I was expecting but with not so many people, well it was smoke free! Yeah! The dealers were lonely as there were many open tables but they were smiling and genuinely friendly when speaking with them. That is why this place got three stars, because of the people. Cons: why have video poker, roulette and other games with such a high minimum? Played video poker and minimums were $5. Should have allowed the $1 button to work because I would have rather had more fun playing more games losing $1 or $2 dollars and kept me their longer. In turn, keeping me there longer would have made residual money getting drinks, or even food along with my partner. Though I lost all but $2 of my money, my partner walked away with $50 extra in his pocket. In total, we were in the casino for only 30 minutes when I was expecting at least one to two hours.

Not kid friendly. We also went to a casino in South Lake Tahoe and there were restaurants and an arcade. This one however has no restaurants or anything for kids to do. Parking was free and we adults had a good time. The drinks were free as long as your gambling. Small but nice. The casino right next to it is even smaller, and they have a little out door Cafe.

The artist was amazing! The room, not so much. The ceiling in the room does not allow for good acoustics. It was hard to understand clearly unless we were right up front. There were more than a few blasted people there. I'm not complaining about that. It was only when they started pouring their drinks on us and bumping everyone around that it became annoying. So it was either stand up front to hear clearly and get trashed or stand back further where lyrics, and what Grace Potter was saying became unclear. Also, there is not one place to sit, not even at the bar. The fire lanes on each wall made it impossible to just stand on the side lines. All around horrible room for a concert. I will see Grace again, but I won't return to this venue ever unless the casino does a complete remodel.
