Loved this venue. Sat in the "Terrace" section where you used your own chairs, and I thot the view was pretty good. Orchestra pit was standing room only, then a seated section (which were sold out by the time I found out about the concert! Then the Terrace section, which were concrete slabs with artificial grass, then a huge lawn section at the top. You were allowed to bring blankets & chairs ... Tix were very reasonable! Of course U can tell by the name that it sits by a lake, so it makes for a great backdrop for the stage. It helped that I thoroughly enjoyed the musical artists "Get the Led Out," a Led Zeppelin tribute band that rocked the house! It seems they have a great lineup of guests appearing there, so check it out, you might get to have an ultimate experience at the Devon Lakeshore Amphitheater like I did!

Considering Decatur Illinois is an overall undesirable place to visit, this place really stands out. I went there to see a concert and the atmosphere, parking, sound, and ease of exit were phenomenal. We will definitely go back there for future shows.

We went to see Elle King. First time visit to the Devon. Went through the ticket process quickly. Terrace seating area was nice. Not a bad seat anywhere! Highly recommend a concert there

This is a great venue. It was my first time there. Lucky to see Night Ranger. Easy to park, got shuttled to the entrance. Very good seating, restrooms and food and drink. If you have the chance go.

First time, and I was impressed! I've been to a lot of amphitheaters in several different states, this was one of the best. I loved the turf! Food/drink prices were normal instead of being way overpriced. Not enough bathrooms, but it was right on the lake, and there was a constant breeze, which kept it a perfect temp for a concert, even in July! I'll definitely be back. Next time I'll try to get the paid parking! Hiking up the hill to get to the free parking was rough.
