Mercury Cafe Reviews

Wonderful venue for brunch accompanied by beautiful music. Local Color, the duo (cello & piano), played a range from original compositions to classical jazz. Good brunch choices - avocado toast was a favorite among the group. I liked the Croissant Croque Madam. The maple donut was terrific! Coffee & tea bar had lots of choices to suit any wish. Bar was well stocked for wine and cocktails.

This place has something for everyone. The layout is great for grabbing a coffee and doing work or catching up with friends during the day. At night, you can grab a fun cocktail, wine, beer or nonalcoholic drink at the bar and even catch live music, poetry, and more. The food is better than expected and the staff makes you feel at home. If this isn't on your regular's list, you're missing out.

Beautiful space and vibe. Food, coffee and mimosas were yummy. Excited to come back for the live performances

We enjoyed a lively evening at the Friday night jazz jam. The Gabe G. trio played some beautiful tunes earlier in the evening and then the jam began. How fun. We heard so many amazing musicians including a young jazz singer. Cool vibe, friendly service, and a very tasty gyro. Highly recommend.

One of the most magical places in Denver! I come here as much as I can. There’s a wonderful atmosphere of artists, kindness, and welcomeness. They have amazing drinks, delicious food, and great acts! Be sure to buy food/drinks/tip/and tip your musicians as most of what is put on is free or extremely low cost. Jazz is EVERY Friday at 6 and poetry night follows after! They have a huge calendar of events. I’ve been coming here for years and am so thankful for this community and musicians! I honestly don’t know why FREE JAZZ isn’t packed to the brim every Friday 6-9!!! I adore it.
