DECC Arena Concerts

We were here for a robotics Qualifier. I will first say the people working were great. This includes parking attendants, concession stand workers, and janitors. The place was fairly clean for the number of events happening at one time. The issues I had along with many others.... the heat was unbearable. A 50-degree day, full arena, and the heat was at 78. We ended up being in t-shirts for the remaining days. I would definitely go back. However, a battery-operated fan and shorts will be necessary.

Very un-impressed. $10 to park for the circus. Pizza slice and a coffee was $10, but you can't pay with cash unless you have the exact amount. I only had a $20 and had to walk-away hungry. I think it'll be a loooong time before I'm back.

Attended a concert here. Handicapped parking was difficult to find. We managed to find a tiny elevator once we finally arrived at the arena from the parking ramp that ALL disabled people were directed to. One wheelchair and one sidekick at a time. When it came time to leave we were forbidden to return the way we came, so for someone completely unfamiliar with the building AND having to deal with a wheelchair in a huge crowd for the first time, it was not an experience I would rush into again. There was nothing about this experience that made us feel particularly welcome or provided for at the venue. I expect, were it not for the wheelchair, we might have had a less negative experience. No one else among the readily mobile seemed as exasperated as I felt.

Very nice once inside. They made no effort, however, to direct ppl to a convenient handicap drop-off. We drove into a dead end with no turn around. So we had to take my wife's knee scooter out of the car in traffic and she had to go a long way to just get inside.

The Decc symphony hall was perfect for the John Crist comedy show
