Catholic Health Amphitheater at Bald Hill Reviews

The pictures are The line front and back of us to get into the stadium But it goes really fast and if you don't mind bringing your own chairs and being way in the back then buying your tickets at the box office when you get there is the very cheapest. It's a really nice stadium and It was a really fun night out.

Lou Gramm concert 8/26/2023 Went to the concert and was charged $30.00 cash only for parking. I did not read this anywhere when I bought the tickets online. Some customers turning around to go get cash. Had bugs flying around.. winged gnat or something - Lots of them. They dispersed when the music started playing. The concert area was nice. Concession stands, lawn area, etc.

8/6/2021 Darius Rucker Concert I've been to all types of venues throughout my life and this was definitely the worst. We tried to arrive early but once we were about 3/4 of a mile from the entrance we were in standstill traffic along with everyone else trying to get into the parking lot. It took 40+ minutes to finally reach the entrance where we had to deal with a rude and shady security guard asking for $35 cash for parking. The parking lot was unkept, people were urinating everywhere because there were no port a potties or restrooms, and tailgating was prohibited. As we're walking in security isn't checking tickets so basically anyone can walk into the concert. We finally get to our seats and I notice that my seat is completely broken and the front is covered with duct tape. When I sat down there was no support, the seat angled downward towards the floor and the loose front pinched the skin on my legs. I showed the ushers and security the problem but they said there was nothing they could do. Feeling defeated at this point I decided to get a beer. There were only a few beer stands and the lines were insanely long. I waited 25 minutes in line to finally get a beer which was half foam and warm. I sat tiptoed for the rest of the concert so I wouldn't fall off my seat and the back of my legs had welts from the seat constantly pinching my skin. If I wasn't with my wife and a large group of friends I would have walked out immediately. The weed and cigarette smoke didn't bother me but the massive cigar smoke around us was insane. There's a stand on the grounds that sells cigars and a lot of people were smoking cigars. Between the 2 tickets (me & my wife) and parking I spent over $350 for a terrible night. The grounds and amphitheater have so much potential but the place is poorly run. I will never go back to Bald Hill Amphitheater and would never recommend it to anyone. Do your research before you spend your money at a concert here.

First time at this venue. Went to see the original Jersey Boy...Mr. Frankie Valli. Show was fun. Parking was easy, but lot isn't huge. I like to arrive early. Lots of tailgaters. The walk is a bit long for those who are older or have trouble walking. I did see a staff member offer a golf cart ride to a cane walking patron. We brought our own seats and blankets to the lawn. Acoustics were good. Food prices and choices were reasonable. Pathway back to cars at night need better lighting. Exiting some of the staff were baffled on how to safely get cars out. Over all, a nice venue. I recommend.

It’s a small venue but we really enjoyed the Chicago concert. It’s not fancy but there were food vendors with plenty of choices. The lack of bathrooms for non-vip was less than ideal. Still, we will be back!
