Sweetwater Sound Concerts

We were in town (live 3 hours away). This store was on our must stop list for our trip. It's AMAZING! If you're a music fan of any sort, you should stop in. There's something for everyone!!! We will be back. We were able to explore the entire store. We were asked if we needed help, but we were never bothered or approached in a pushy way.

Pretty cool place if you're a musician. I had never been, and I had happened to be in Fort Wayne, so I made it a point to go. They have a cafeteria, a salon, academies, and of course, music-related merchandise and gear. Literally, my only 'complaint' is that there's not MORE retail-oriented space for music. It has its own section of the building, but it leaves me wanting just a bit more as more of a customer's standpoint and less of an attendee of their academies and various classes. I bet it's an awesome experience to actually take the classes, so I can't actually judge the place beyond my retail experience.

I recently purchased a Snow White Jackson King V from Sweetwater. I have played guitar for 30 years and have purchased guitars from many different dealers. This was my first guitar purchase from Sweetwater and it was a great experience. Their website is easy to navigate and I appreciate that the presentation of guitars is specific to the serial #. You get to see several versions of the same model and finish of the guitar you want but they each look slightly different and Sweetwater includes the weight of each guitar so you can choose the lighter or denser wood. From there you have option to add additional services' if you want. To name a few: You can have your guitar Plek'd (which after having it done to my guitar, I highly recommend it), add a custom setup, upgraded nut material, have different pickups installed, or change the hardware. While ordering I had a few questions so I called the sales tech listed on the website and He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He answered all my questions and he had a few questions for me to help get exactly what I needed. Throughout the entire process I felt valued as a customer. A few days after submitting my order, the sale tech called to let me know my upgrades had been completed and the guitar was ready for shipping. He also asked if I had any more questions and sent me an email with pictures of my guitar. The detail Sweetwater puts into customer service is incredible and has earned them my business for many years to come.

This was a fantastic shopping experience. Sweetwater is usually my go-to solution for getting my music stuff by mail order, but since I was close I thought I’d stop in and see the showroom…it was incredible! Prices are as good (often better) than online, and the staff were 100% friendly and helpful. I can’t wait to go back!

This place has quite a wow factor...and I am not musically inclined. Very impressive mall dedicated mostly to all things musical. We stopped in, hoping for a big selection of ukulele. That part was disappointing as there were very few. But just the experience was worth the stop. There is even a well appointed cafeteria.
