Smith Opera House Concerts 2025

A positively phenomenal time, watching the Syracuse Orchestra perform. Had the chance to listen to Julian Schwarz play cello- could not recommend it more highly. Theater itself is beautiful, friendly and attentive staff. Really cannot speak more highly of this theater, I mean, it’s comparable to something like the Cadillac theater in Chicago, at a tenth of the cost.

This was my first time at the Smith Opera house.. I attended my daughter's field trip with the Canandaigua school to watch Rainbow fish. It was a great performance. My first impression was how historical the building looked, cleanliness was at perfection, and the staff was friendly. There was a snack area, which it was closed when we went there. I will be going again next year, as today was the last performance for the year.

Had a great time seeing the tom petty tribute band. Free parking and lots of fun!

Wonderful performance by the Jubilee Singers of Fisk University. Wonderful acoustics. Fun fact. The Jubilee Singers first performed at The Smith Opera House about six months after it first opened, in 1895. This is their first return performance at The Smith!

This is a very nice venue. The theater, or Opera House, is well kept and very well maintained. We attended today and saw the Snow White ballet program. Every year, Mrs. Colletti's group puts on a different program. Today’s program was a top-notch program. The kids ages 3 and includes kids through the 12th grade work very hard and perform very well. My wife and I love to attend. If you plan to attend next year's program, we will see you then.
