The Venue at Horseshoe Casino Concerts 2024

My husband and I really enjoy seeing our favorite entertainment at this venue. We will definitely revisit. Ms. Stephanie Mills was amazing!

I really enjoyed this venue. We arrived 1.5 hours before the show started to get dinner at Jack Binion’s. We then chose to stay at the casino for about an hour after the show ended to gamble, drink, and eat. We sat in one of the VIP suites, which was absolutely great. The view was awesome. The VIP suites have a bar and bartender in the suite with an open call bar. Beer, wine, mixed drinks, pop, and water are all included. There are also private washrooms for suite guests on the suite level. However, I do agree with other reviewers that there isn’t much information about parking or where to go, though. We also were unsure if the show started at 7 or if the doors opened at 7? We missed the beginning of Lorna Shore (the first band), because of this. Also because of the all of the weird amounts of lines people had to stand in. That part was a little strange. They had signs up for wristbands, but no explanation of what the wristbands were for. You can’t really control the parking situation, and after being to so many concerts, it is expected that leaving in a timely fashion is almost always going to suck. I would just recommended offering more information online on The Venue website regarding parking, where to go, when doors open, when the show starts, etc.

I'm a bit torn. We saw Gojira and Mastodon here and the show was phenomenal and I loved the venue. BUT, getting into the venue was a bad experience. It took us 45 minutes from parking to get into the show. First, there are only like 2 entrances to get into the casino where they check your ID, and it takes, like, a minute per person. There were many people here for the concert, so this took a long time. Then, upstairs, we had to wait in line to get a wristband and show our ticket, and then wait in ANOTHER line to show our ticket and get in the venue. That whole thing was ridiculous. Then, after the show was overit took about an hour to leave the parking garage. Everyone was trying to leave at once, and there is like, one exit, so we literally didn't move for 30 minutes. You either need to leave early or plan to get food or gamble or something to avoid the traffic. The actual venue was great though. It felt huge and spacious and I had a blast. Great crowd. In the future, I will try to arrive much earlier to get into the casino, and also plan to get food after.

First time at the Venue at Horseshoe Casino in Hammond Indiana but I hope it's not the last! The acoustics are terrific, the sightlines are top notch and the video screens are great! I will keep an eye on who is playing here. Tonight was Sammy Hagar and the Circle. My first time seeing Sammy and I have totally missed out. This 76 year old has more energy than most 3 year olds! Sammy, Mike Anthony, Jason Bonham et al sounded great! Maybe the best concert I've ever seen (and I've seen 10 this year)! Oh and special guest Billy Corgan of the Smashing Pumpkins joined the band for a song! All in all an amazing night!

I had A GREAT time at the venue, I look forward to going back!
