Hampton Roads Convention Center Concerts 2025

This is the second time we have come here for the Jamfest cheer competition, and neither time we're we impressed with this event hall. Acoustics are not very good, nor are the amenities. Last year, they didn't even have the concession stand open, and this 5 ran out of most of their food. Their nacho cheese looked like a congealed jello. We got 2 bags of potato chips and a mountain due for $10. The only candy they offered was Hi-Chew? Who only has a Hi-Chew? Who carries Hi-iChew as their Candy choice? Well, this place. Then you had to wait in line for 20 mins to find out they had no food. They have no signs, but card only, but have ATM machines in the lobby?? I hope Jamfest looks into other locations. There has to be better than HRCC.

Grand ballroom Ideal for big events. Other small halls for different events. Clean bathrooms. Nice environment. Security. Spacious car park. A walking distance to Embassy suites Hotel. A walking distance to the coliseum as well.

I've attended several conferences and events at this venue. Plenty of parking, spaces, restrooms, and places to sit between sessions. Other great amenities are electric plugs to charge up and privacy to make quick calls and/or check emails. All of which are important. Free parking is a HUGE PLUS. The food for the event was very good. The place is clean, staff is friendly and helpful.

Every year I look forward to the Mid-Atlantic Quilt Festival, which is held at the convention center in February. This year there were over 150 quilts competing in four categories and 22 entries in the wearable arts category along with 115 vendors. There are also tables with information on the regional quilting and embroidery guilds, a food court and coat and package check.

Thank you, Hampton Rds Convention Center, for the Bodacious Bazaar Extravaganza... We enjoyed checking out the Exibits of Season Greetings, small business and family owned Mom & Pop shops of homemade wine tasting, decorative holiday cheer of tasty snacks, hot cocoa, and warm ciders. We really enjoyed the Adirondack chair conversation pieces thru out the Bazaar. We rated your Bazaar 5 stars because it was not only funtime for the fam, folks, and friends but also a great place to spend time out with the kiddos. 'And speaking of kids... We met up with Tara Wheeler from the Hampton Roads Show and photo-bomb Tara Wheeler with family in-Tow and her sunshiny-girl of the adventure, "Chronicles of Sunny"... "Kara's genuine spirit of that small hometown, Mr Rogers kindness, received from her entire family was awesome! We enjoyed meeting Kara and her family.
