STAR Centre Concerts

Very good performance hall. The sound is very good and forgiving. I was able to see everything on stage in almost any seat in the theater. The one drawback is the ancient spring cushion seats. Please recover the seats and this place will be very comfortable.

A very nice centre of the performing arts. My only gripe is that the chairs are very unfriendly for portly people. Someone tell the mayor to invest a little more money for better chairs. Other than that, very cool place with an old school bathroom feeling.

We have been to the STAR center more than once to see various tribute bands such as Almost Queen, Tusk tribute to Fleetwood Mac, Elton John tribute which the guy who portrayed Elton John was on POINT with his style, voice, show performance, we also seen the Led Zepplin Tribute band, the 80's prom night and just recently we seen the Vampire Circus. EVERY SINGLE performance we have seen has been AMAZING!!!!! If you haven't been to a show at the STAR center yet I suggest you RUN, don't walk to see a show to your liking!!! If I could give more than 5 stars I would!!!

We had a lovely time at the Star Centre. Super easy to park, very decent acoustics, comfortable seating, very good view of the stage. The act (Motor City Review) was great, and got the audience rocking. Enjoyable evening. We would certainly not hesitate to return to the Star Centre.

Such a great venue. Everyone is nice and helpful. Close to home. Plenty of parking
