So the center for the arts of Homer is a little hidden gem in rural CNY a old church converted to a event space is the best use of a space like that. All the cool local and touring shows that stop in little Homer is amazing. From Kevin Bacon and his brother to awesome burlesque shows. If you have to go to church this is the one

Great atmosphere/vibe the burlesque bingo show was amazing. So many talented performers. The only reason I didn't give the Center for the Arts 5 stars is that the parking situation is terrible.

Great little place for some music. Sound was good. Definitely enjoyable. Gave you a little sticky note to put your name on it to put it on the seat so that you could keep your seat once you got in there. Definitely going back if music's comes back around.

The best thing about this venue is the woman who runs it, Sheila. She seems to be the beating heart of the venue. I arrived early, concerned about the fact that I was stuck with my dog in my climate controlled camper van for the concert I was attending the following day I decided to drive down there and speak to her and see if she could recommend a good parking place to make sure that I would be parked close to the venue. Not only did she secure me the closest parking spot imaginable, she also allowed me to come and go from the event to make sure allow me to check in on my dog. On top of that, she helped me get a good seat close to the front knowing that this is my favorite band. She just made such a big difference in my experience I can’t thank her enough. Beyond her, the acoustics were absolutely incredible the intimate setting was like I’ve never experienced in my entire life I’ve seen the same band maybe 15 times but never in such a unique intimate setting. It’s beautiful the story behind how the Center for the Arts Was created 20 years ago I was just incredible. The town of Homer is so quaint has such amazing architecture the old homes are so beautiful I wish I could stay here longer.

What a fun little quaint venue. Free parking and super friendly staff/volunteers. Pretty comfy seats too. I'll def be coming back to this place. My only tiny concern is that the acoustics could be a little better with some materials placed on the bare walls/corners of the room. But it still sounded great for the most part. Clean bathrooms and a good bar/concession stand too.
