Bought tickets for Standing General Admission - prior to the concert my boyfriend got injured at work, so I decided to upgrade us to the 40 Below club (below the music venue - we wouldn't be able to see the show live but they did have a projector showing the shows in the club) in case he needed to take sitting breaks in between/during the shows - since I had already bought GA tickets, I couldn't change them to balcony/sitting seats without pretty much buying 2 additional tickets. We weren't even thinking about asking for accommodations for him since we figured we would be fine since I got us the 40 Below tickets and we would have seating if needed. As soon as we made it to the entrance of 40 Below, the staff noticed right away he was limping and asked if he was injured. He said yes and asked if there was an elevator we could use between shows so he wouldn't have to use the stairs. Let me tell you - THE STAFF AT BAYOU MUSIC CENTER WAS INCREDIBLY ACCOMMODATING! Not only did they have the manager turn on the elevator just for my boyfriend - but they let us sit in the ADA seating area so my boyfriend wouldn't have to stand during the show. We made sure we let the staff know how grateful we were for them being very helpful and friendly! Not only was I going to see one of my favorite bands - but because of the staff going above and beyond for us (even when we didn't ask!) - it honestly made our night way more enjoyable! The whole staff was friendly and helpful! But would love to give a shoutout to Irene and Matt for making our night a night we will never forget!

Bayou Music Center was Great. Clean venue with nice restrooms that had plenty of stalls and urinals. Several mini bars to get beverages. Big can beers (24-25oz) were ~$14-15. General Audience standing room was decent for this concert. We got seats in the balcony and they were Fantastic. Bar and restroom upstairs was easy to access. The sound of the band was just right... Not too loud, not too soft. The vocals were distorted... But I'll blame that on the band. We stayed at a nearby hotel and ubered to the concert so I can't speak on parking. Enjoyed this facility!...Portugal. The Man, Not so much. They were blah👎

The Bayou Music Center is a pretty great venue all-in-all. I got to see a favorite band of mine perform, the stage setup was great, and the acoustics were fantastic. The only problem I have is more with how things were handled in terms of letting people into the venue, and the ticketing. When I arrived, about 30 minutes before the show was about to start, the line for entry was wrapped around the (absolutely massive) building. There were a bunch of staff standing around upselling “fast passes” to skip the line. $25 a pop. Me and my friend decided we just wanted to get in there, so we bought the fast passes. We go back around the building, and there doesn’t seem to be any sort of fast pass line or anything like that. So we ask a staff member there at the entrance where to go to redeem our fast passes. He just told us to cut everyone in the main line! There was no fast pass entrance. There was no one even checking for fast passes! Not only was it a total scam, but it can also potentially put guests to the venue in uncomfortable situations. I’ve seen plenty of people get extremely angry when someone cuts in line. So, if someone doesn’t realize you have some basically nonsensical “fast pass,” you could find yourself in a fight. I’d go to the venue again, but the entrance and ticketing stuff is a total joke.

Incredible show. I went to the SoundClash so the shows alternated on either side like a battle of the bands. The set, stage, and lighting was some of the best I've ever seen. Parking was easy, crowd was respectful, drinks were steep.
