Schrott Center For The Arts Concerts 2024

I drove to the Schrott Center to see a free ballet by the Ailey Dance Company, Feb 6th, 2024, that was advertised that no ticket was needed. Paid $10 for parking and stood in line a half hour outside in the cold with a hundred or more people. I had to go to the very front of the line to see why the line wasn’t moving. The ushers weren’t letting anyone else in, but also not announcing loudly to the back of the line that there were no more seats left. So hundreds of people walked back to the parking garage and were not given a refund for paying $10 to park. Please do not go to any free event at the Schrott center in the future unless you can reserve a ticket. Hopefully they will change their policy, and I think they should offer free parking in the garage to those who didn’t get a refund at an upcoming show!

Real nice venue for plays. Had a wonderful experience watching a student performance.

Great venue for music events.

A smaller venue in the shadow of Clowes Hall on the Butler campus but more than capable for those more intimate productions that can enhance the theater experience without sacrificing quality.

Surprisingly easy to find parking. It was a smaller theater, but we loved the more intimate vibe it gave. Very clean and nice staff. We left feeling like we'd like to come watch more events at this theater because we liked the size.
