Ordered the meat lover and Overweight lover thru DoorDash. We received the Overweight lover and a pepperoni pizza instead. Tried to call the establishment to see if maybe we were given someone else's order (it happens) but didn't reach anyone and it went to voicemail. I'm all for supporting local and black businesses, this was not a good first time experience with this establishment though. Throw the fact that I'm pregnant and waited over an hour for the delivery and the disappointment was that much worse. The other pizza was good which is why I gave 3 stars instead of 1, but communication and customer service was non existent in this particular incident.

Me and my bestie went to try out this joint last night for her birthday dinner, and we walked away very impressed!! The atmosphere was very nice, and the decor was quaint and unique. They also have an outdoor seating area for the Summer, and have doggie water bowls available!! Super cute! The waitress (who did an excellent Job serving us), let us know that they have live jazz and gospel music Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night! So if you want to listen to some great live music or perform here, this is the place for you! There is also Spade Card game nights where you pay a ten dollar entry fee and can win up to a hundred and fifty dollars! The food was of excellent quality, with plenty of flavor and seasoning. I had the spicy chicken sliders and fries, and my friend ordered their sausage pizza. Their frozen margaritas were BOMB! You seriously need to try one when you visit if you love those types of drinks. My friend had the Apple Crisp and I had the Tropical Berry. Both were excellent! They also had a pretty decent beer and wine list. Their desserts choices were also scrumptious looking! So definitely check this place out and help support a small business! I know I’ll be back soon to try their fried pickles and another margarita! 🍹❣️🍹

3. Amazing experience! If you thought THE MAD GRIDDLE jazz bar/ restaurant will leave you hungry, think again. You should skip several meals before visiting this amazing restaurant. Everything is so tasty, you cannot restraint yourself from having all of the dishes.

I’ve been to the mad griddle so many times, have even had a few events here. Staff is always so nice, drinks are lit, & food is bomb. Def recommend !! Go check them out :)

This place is pretty cute but, the bathrooms don’t lock, I had to turn the power and lights on to the whole hallway, smelled very much like pee. The Bacon cheeseburger was great, but the fries tasted funky and chili was wayyyy too spicy. The music is good and it’s a clean place (except bathrooms). Our waitress was very attentive and polite, BUT to pay we had to type in our credit card number and details into a cellphone. The wait was also pretty long but they were understaffed.
