Underbelly Concerts 2024-2025

Hanging out at Underbelly for a whiskey event my husband likes going to. I had the smoked turkey sandwich with a side of Mac and cheese and he had a smoked brisket sandwich. This was some of the best smoked turkey I've ever had honestly. FULL of smokey flavor and spices as well as moist. They paired a sweet BBQ and their coleslaw and a house made pickle with it. I tossed both the sauce and coleslaw on the sandwich and I wish I had room for a second because MAN, was it good. Mac and cheese was creamy and thick. Full of a ooey gooey goodness and jam packed with flavor. I LOVED MY MEAL. Hubby was really impressed with his brisket sandwich. It was paired with a horseradish based sauce and the coleslaw, and he normally is not a fan of horseradish, but enjoyed this a lot. I've eaten here a few times in the past while attending a concert so I've never reviewed or shared here. It's dark in here at night during shows. LOL, but each time I've ate here I've had something different that really hit the spot. All of their meats are smoked on sight and if I had to recommend trying anything from their normal, daily menu, it'd be their version of a Chicago Dog made with their housemade sausage. Chicogans beware, it's not a "ReAl ChIcAgO DoG" so just full stop on that. If you're ever in the downtown area they are located on Bay Street (backside of the Florida Theater). I highly recommend trying them out for some good ol' BBQ.

The band we saw was one of the ten best shows I have ever seen, but the venue didn't impress me much. The bar tender I kept getting did not know how to make common drinks nor one drink from their menu. The beer selection on tap was poor. We didn't eat there bc the menu is pretty limited.

Saw Andy Frasco there on Sunday night, and I will admit I was terrified that the capacity issues from my last visit were going to repeat themselves. This show was sold out, and much to my amazement, capacity standards were upheld and the proper balance was achieved. The bathroom and bar, and areas were transversable and accessible. Thank you to the management to reaction to feedback accordingly and providing a safe and enjoyable environment for me to see my favorite band.

Fabulous BBQ and service! We really enjoyed the mixed BBQ platter and our waiter who was attentive and friendly!

I had a really good time at the Moonchild concert last night! It was my first time going to Underbelly. From the moment I walked in, and even when I was leaving out, the staff was extremely kind and welcoming to me. That made me feel good. So I’ll be happy to return there for more shows! The venue is standing room only. So be prepared for that when you come for a big show. I was happy that parking was not a chore. I got a great spot right on the street with no problem. The sound was good. You’ll be able to see the stage from almost anywhere in the venue, even when it’s crowded—which it was last night. I can’t comment on the food or drinks because I didn’t have any. But other people seemed really happy with their food and drinks. It looked like they gave good portions of food from what I saw others with. Overall, my experience was great and I think Underbelly is a really nice venue!
