Astra Theatre Concerts 2024

Haven’t been able to come since The Verve Pipe in 2019 so I was excited for this! Such a great venue, with great acoustics and rich in local history.

The Astra and Next Act, the group that provides orogramming for the theater, is an invaluable asset to Jasper. From movies to comedy shows, you can always find great entertainment at the Astra.

Being revived from its former movie theater venue it's been reinvented as a performing arts stage and the balcony is now open to the main floor. The restoration is beautiful the acoustics are great. It's a smaller venue so there's definitely a quaint feel to it. Staff is courteous and beer and wine are available. Still some small kinks to work out but all in all it's a pretty great venue.

I love the ambiance of this small, rescued theater. I have been to see movies and musical groups, and I really have no complaints. I appreciate that it has been given a second life.
