The room is nice but comes with a lot of options. Fridge? $20 a day. European charger or plug adapter? No they don't offer that: "you can go buy it" answered the concierge. QR code for 24/7 room service dining? It opens on Friday at 7:00 says the website you land on. The bed is extremely comfortable. The water runs fast and warm water comes fast. Bath a little small to take a bath. Housekeeping forget to replace the body wash gel that was empty from day 1. Maybe they thought shampoo would do for both? You can't open the window. Probably so that no one has the urge to try something stupid. And the windows are tinted so even when the sunlight shed light in the room, it's a little dark in the room. But it's okay. It probably also helps for the room not to get too warm.

We stayed only one night and we found the room very accommodating, just slightly old, but in good conditions. Bathroom was well cleaned, with good shower and spacious. The hotel itself is a treat! The decoration is marvelous, and the lift is funny (due to the pyramid shape of the building). Also, the location is great, neighboring other hotels with different styles, providing a fun time for exploring.

Stayed here with my family of 5. 2 adults 3 kids, ages 8-2. Stayed in a room with 2 queen beds. Room was really nice and couldn’t smell any smoke. Very clean and my kids loved it. They loved the Egyptian theme of the hotel. We walked through the Luxor hotel into the Excalibur hotel then out to the strip. My kids had a blast.
Luxor is a great place to stay on the strip if you are on a budget. The rooms are basic but always clean. Everyone I've encountered that works there is friendly and helpful. The have a lot of fun exhibits including the Titanic, bodies, and a king tut/ Egypt one. They have a few dining options but nothing good enough to write about.
Room was more up to date than my previous stay. The main down side is it’s on the opposite side of the strip that I’d prefer to be on. The pyramid cafe has decent food depending on what you order. Omelets were no good but other items were. Also no microwave in the premier king corner suite. Loved the soaking tub and bed was very comfortable. The pool was also nice and enjoyable.
