Mellwood Art Center Concerts

We had our wedding in the Picasso room and it was honestly the most beautiful and amazing night. I loved how we were allowed to use our own catering services and how much time we had the room. Also the lighting on the ceiling is gorgeous and made everything feel magical. The bridal suit was the perfect size for my five bridesmaids and me to get ready with our hair/makeup artist.

We enjoyed Mellwood Art Center! The art is Amazing! There were many different types and styles of artwork, Graffiti, Abstract, Expressionism to name a few. So many have colorful and pretty color schemes. It was after hours, so many of the shops were closed. It's definitely worth a trip back during business hours to visit some of the shops! However, we did enjoy a yummy pepperoni pizza from Danny Mac's! He also sales Mr. C's cheesecakes; the many varieties are very delicious as well!😋

This was a very large antique store. Thankfully it didn't smell bad inside like most antique stores. Organized well. Could have spent days in this store looking around.

Very nice event center. There is plenty of space for multiple setups. Enjoyed the Winefest held here for Derby. I will be back to visit.

We had our wedding reception there a month after our elopement and this was the perfect place. We chose the smaller room the Pigmont gallery and the size of the room was PERFECT! It was very affordable too since we planned it last minute. It was very clean, beautiful, private, accommodating, and very professional. We had access to a list of vendors they had but we chose to use our own. They provided a perfect floor plan and had almost everything preset for us. We just had to place our decorations. This place is very affordable even any of the other rooms were amazing. We toured the all the rooms upon viewing Mellwood. The entire staff was friendly, welcoming, and polite. They answered anything and everything. They emailed back or called back very fast as well. Thank you to the amazing staff at Mellwood! We will for sure book other events here in the future 😃
