Lubbock Symphony Orchestra Concerts 2025

I believe the LSO sponsored or hosted The LCU Summer Concert Coming Out of Hayden...it was wonderful! It was a great mix of voice, soloist, and arrangements. It's a great way to spend an evening. Don't sleep on their events!

My 3 friends and I went to their “video game” exposition. I’ve heard LSO is steadily getting better, but this one was a total flop. A “mix” between an orchestra and a rock show (the latter wasn’t advertised) with the rock artist interrupting everything between sets, running around the stage, and making a few tasteless jokes. If he didn’t speak, they played 5-6 2003 era YouTube videos about “bad video game lines” or “worst video game titles.” My friends and I will have a laugh talking about it for some time to come, but I doubt I’ll see another show. There was also no enforcement of masks, even though the ticket stated it. Without the rock part, I’d give it 3, and if they also enforced their policies it could be a 4.

Friendly place, awesome staff! If you want tickets to the Lubbock Symphony, this is the place to get them. Much too small for the concerts, though.

Wrost place ever my kids leg broke and he cried for 3 hours straight
