BASEMENT NY Concerts 2024

What a fun adventure. The door was easy (though I did come on the earlier side) and the beats were phenomenal. The whole setting was a real mood as well. The cavernous power plant setting felt like the love child of John Wick x Matrix x Blade. 10/10 will be back!

TLDR: don’t go here, it’s trash. Had tickets and showed up on time. Place appeared empty from the outside since the queue was pretty short. The bouncer asked if it was our first time here, and half of us said it was. He then directed us to another guy who told us we’ve been denied entry and that our ticket was refunded… I’ve been to so many clubs around the world and never experienced anything like this. Don’t ever go to any events here.

This place promotes on their website that they do not discriminate but they do. Me and my friends came to have a good time and the security guards were aggressive and hostile and kicked us out even thought we had tickets. They didn’t let us speak to management nor gave us reason why we couldn’t get in. They definitely killed the vibe for the night. This place needs to be shut down. 0/10

Amazing vibe. Not exactly the Berlin experience I was initially told but close enough for New York. I adore places with no cameras policy but I did see ppl taking pictures which is no go. Music was incredible I would like to give it another run for sure

Disappointment for city. I have been many night clubs and I never seen such a discrimination like that. This place is such a turn off in NYC. We waited in lane and not told which one is none tickets line and no one pointed in the beginning we waste 20-30 minutes when we came to check point they said go back and get into other line. We said ok lets wait and see how it goes after and hour wait we came to final check point again and we have asked why we are here(“saturday night I wanted to go out and dance have fun”)without explanation we pointed to security guy again and they said we can’t go inside today come other time but they let 15 ppl infront of us without ticket. Total discrimination and unprofessional work ethic waste of time.
