My son field trip was absolutely a good one in this area. We saw many different things that fascinated him. Memphis Botanic Garden was a pleasant sight to see.

Midsize amphitheater with a huge stage and big TV screen so you can see from anywhere. It's easy to move around this place, alcohol vendors and Porta Johns are plentiful. I love this amphitheater definitely coming back. Widespread Panic!

Great views from pretty much anywhere you pick to put your lawn chairs, great sound, great concerts…but, not every event allows you to bring your own food or cooler. Although the food options were tasty, there were only 2 vendors!! The vendors worked hard but folks were waiting in line for over an hour for food!!! The bar lines were much more efficient and often were no wait, however, 2 drinks is gonna cost you about $40-50! I highly recommend eating and drinking before you go to a “closed to coolers” event. Also, arrive an hour or more before the show starts if a close spot is important to you.

Doobie Brother's was canceled due to thunderstorms, but we still had a nice picnic before hand. Stood in line for the lawn from 5:00 pm until 6:45 pm due to delay. Found our spot, setup picnic. Just as we finished eating, there was an announcement to return to our cars because of lightening 4 miles away and when the storm passed we could come back in. So about 7000 people left, only to not return. Bummer but it happens. We were told we would receive a refund. Venue is very nice, clean, and cozy on the lawn. Staff is always professional and courteous.
