Review of Epic Hotel: My stay at the Epic Hotel from May 22-26 for an education summit was nothing short of disappointing. Despite being labeled as a VIP guest, my experience was far from satisfactory. Firstly, the room they provided me with was a one-room suite with a dismal view overlooking the parking garage. Meanwhile, the regular rooms had a much better view. The room's design was atrocious; I banged my head against the poorly placed TV next to the bed not once, but four times. The bathroom, although spacious, suffered from poor design, making it difficult to use efficiently. To add insult to injury, there was no coffee machine in the room. It's absurd that in this day and age, a supposedly upscale hotel expects guests to trek all the way downstairs for a cup of basic coffee. And to top it off, despite being on the 18th floor, the inconvenience of having to make this journey was ridiculous. As if these shortcomings weren't enough, the hotel's attempt at hospitality backfired miserably. As a VIP guest, they sent me a gesture of chocolate and cocktails. However, the room was so poorly lit that I couldn't discern the state of the chocolate. Turns out, it was rotten and moldy. Consuming it resulted in two weeks of sickness due to mold allergies. See picture attached!!! When my assistant brought this to their attention, their response was laughable – a cheese plate. Seriously? It's fortunate that the education summit organizer covered the cost of my stay, but my health and time are far more valuable. Epic Hotel's blatant disregard for their guests' well-being and satisfaction speaks volumes about their priorities. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this establishment at all costs.

We just checked yesterday and are still enjoying our stay. The front desk receptionist Steven went above and beyond. He was welcoming, accommodating and very patient. Good service goes a long way and we are satisfied all around. Room is clean as well. Will definitely stay here again

Pretty epic indeed. Rooms were cozy and a good size. A little dusty, but nothing to complain about. Plenty of fancy sports cars up front and great views of the city. A lot of walkable eats and shops too. Excellent pools too with pool service. 👍

Every single time I come to Miami I stay at the epic. Easily the nicest hotel in the city! Even if you are on the lowest floor you will have a phenomenal view of city, every single room is great with a spacious balcony. Angel at the front desk checks us in almost every-time and we are always met with great hospitality. The only issue I've ever had was my AC was out in my room (it was in my free upgrade to a king suite mind you), I called front desk and they had a repair man in my room and got my AC fixed in under 20 minutes. Definitely recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Miami!

No coffee maker in the room? Are you kidding me? I can’t think of a single hotel I’ve stayed in the entire WORLD that hasn’t had coffee in the room. Rooms are not very clean either. Cloth headboards have stains on them. Important note: the water bottles in room are $10 each. They put them under the lamp between beds that covers the top of the bottle that has a little sticker with the price. We had a group of 10 people and no one saw it until over $150 was spent between all our rooms. Also - I had an almost full bottle and they took it and put an unopened one I had to then pay for again. Really sneaky tactic. Staff is friendly. That’s the only positive I can share.
