Blue Chip Casino Hotel Spa Concerts

Came here once a while back just for the casino. Beautiful location and facility. Not a huge offering on table games. Usually only have 3-4 blackjack tables going at a time. Dealers are friendly and fairly experienced. One thing to be aware of is the air quality is decent but there is smoking allowed inside the building. Overall good experience.

It's one of my favorite Boyd properties! Always clean, all staff are friendly and welcoming. Security is 2nd to none. Great variety of old school and new slots. Love the view from the rooms. The beds are comfortable, and the showers are spacious. The best part is they rent scooters ($40. For 24hrs) for handicap and it sure makes a world of difference for me.

Stayed at Blue Chip for one night. Room was clean and spacious, but nothing outstanding in any way. Seemed to have a decent array of various slots like any casino. What soured me about this casino was the casino table game staff and management. At the Blue Chip I sat down after a seat opened at a BJ table. I was having a really bad turn of luck and on a terrible losing streak. It happens, but it's never fun. So the dealer decided to comfort me by making fun of me losing money. I kid you not. Nothing draws guests back like being mocked at the table by the dealer. What a wonderful spokesperson for Blue Chip. Having been a blackjack dealer, I've NEVER mocked anyone losing money. Absolutely absurd and inexcusable. My experience playing Baccarat wasn't much better. After sitting down the floor (manager) literally YELLED at me to hand me my players card. What is wrong with the table game staff at this casino? How can your staff be this bad at their job? Easily the most absurd, unprofessional casino experience I've ever had across any of the casinos I've stayed at across the United States. I'll never go back to this casino. I do enjoy telling others to avoid this casino if they have any intent on playing table games.

If you are thinking about having a wedding here... DON"T. Run far far away and go to whatever other places you were considering. Everything seemed perfectly fine when we initially put a down-payment and then once they have your money you don't mean anything to them. We had to hunt them down 3 months before the wedding for a food tasting, they made it difficult to take any payment for the event, and lied about all the service fee's. All that aside the real problem started when we made a change to our guest count 3 days before by 3 dinner plates. We offered to pay them and they replied "no you're good". They told us the room would be ready the night before for us to decorate and set up and when we got there it was being used by another event. So the day of our wedding (reception starting at 5pm and ceremony starting at 3pm) the room was not available until 12pm the DAY OF OUR WEDDING. This specific department in the 1 year that we have dealt with them has had over 100% turnover so you will only be dealing with new people and constantly being turned over during the course of planning the most important day of your life. They also came back 2 months later after an "audit" and said we owed them $500 more dollars after they had stated we were good and offered to pay. We have received threatening phone calls and emails about collecting payment and they even went through our stay there and threatened to charge the credit card on file we had for a hotel stay during the wedding. Honestly there are several other beautiful venues in the area that will make this experience so much better for you. But if you want to be gaslit every time you bring up an issue by being told "but wasn't your day so beautiful" and "you don't want to remember it like this" instead of addressing the issue, then maybe this is the perfect place for you!

I purchased an overnight stay for my daughter and her friends to celebrate their 22nd birthdays as a surprise. For the money I paid for the room and experience, I am sorely disappointed. The girls arrived to find the casino to be super smokey, kind of rundown, and only slots available for play. The room had uncomfortable beds and awful pillows. The elevator wasn't working correctly. The available restaurants were also super expensive. I was hoping this idea would give them lots of fun choices in things to do as well as allow them to do them without having to drive home afterwards. They were grateful, but I could tell they were very disappointed. I will not be back and would not recommend.
