Powder Ridge Mountain Park & Resort CT Reviews

Service and location was great! They just need to grade the snow or lay out more rubber mats to prevent unstable grounds while walking towards the tubing area for the kids. And also the flow of the lines, get some type of pattern going to keep everything consistently going. But otherwise the tubing itself is short fed fun. I would support the business and definitely go again if they fix those issues.

I've been bringing my kids here for skiing and snowboarding lessons for a few years. The staff is very accommodating, patient, and skilled. I highly recommend them. Regular passes are a good deal, not cheap though. Outside of outdoor sports, the tubing is a lot of fun, especially when the lights are going! The restaurant is pretty good too. Attentive staff, good menu and good prices. There is stuff going on at the ridge all year long, do i highly recommend all families check it out!

We are learning how to ski as adults, and we had a group lesson with Shawn. He was great, and very patient with us all. We went on President's Day weekend, which is a busy ski weekend. We arrived when the mountain opened and had no problem getting our rental equipment. We were able to go down the green trail a bunch with our lift pass. Overall, I thought this was a great mountain, especially for beginners.

Super fun place to go snow tubing. The lanes are set up so you pick up a good amount of speed compared to other snow tubing parks. They have lots of lanes and they have things sequenced pretty well so that you don't spend much time waiting at the top. You do however spend a good amount of time waiting to get on the lift to get back up. Just under 2 hours there and I think we went down the hill 4 times - still a fun time, just expect it and don't get frustrated. Helmets are required so bring one if you have one or they have bins of them to use - although you might want a headsock as they don't seem to be cleaned between guests.
