The Tailgate Concerts

So this is an open air venue for concerts, street/pop-up markets, or whoever else wants to use or rent it out. Always an enjoyable experience coming here. There are couches and tables to relax at, as well as open areas for moving around. All the grub here is food trucks.

The guys at the gate were awesome on our way out. My wife's sugar dropped and she almost passed out. They gave her a Coke to drink and she was good before we got out of the parking lot. We tried to get some food from the food truck. But the smell was horrible. We had to get up wind of it to try and not be sick. We don't drink alcohol but there was a pretty long line to get anything to drink the whole time of the show. There is no seating unless you pay 400 for a table. At least make a designated area for people that want to bring their own chair. The place wasn't crowded. Most the people stayed in front of the stage. A big 10 stars should go to the gentlemen at the gate.

We went to the Lil Jon Brunch on Saturday. They were running late opening the gate. So we went to Hayashi for some apps and drinks to pass the time. Once they opened the gates, walking into the tailgate we were transported somewhere else. It was absolutely amazing. We had VIP couch tickets and had bottle service. All the hype and DJs at the venue made this experience once in a lifetime. Lil Jon came on stage and the place was packed and so much fun! When Lil Jon did "shots" and "yeaahhh" was a check off many people's bucket list there. Incredible!

The Tailgate in Midland, Texas offers a vibrant atmosphere with diverse food options and live music. While the food may be a tad pricey, the experience of chilling with friends and enjoying live performances makes it worthwhile.

Great venue with fun concerts. Great place to go out on a Saturday night!
