St. James 1868 | Milwaukee Event & Wedding Venue Concerts 2024-2025

My (now) husband and I just got married at the St. James, and it was literally the best experience we could have hoped for. We had the entire venue for the day on New Year's Eve, and every step of the way for the year it took to plan our wedding the St. James team was so helpful - from the very beginning giving recommendations of vendors to work with, to later in the process advising on all the smaller details that were important to the day. Not only does the entire team have a great grasp on how to make an event run smoothly, the building itself has also been tailored so well to make hosting an event as big as a wedding so easy. Not to mention just how beautiful the building is as well - we stayed onsite for taking all of our photos and there are so many beautiful spaces to work with, so they've all turned out amazing. We are so glad we chose the St. James as our wedding venue - I can't imagine we would have had as great of an event anywhere else! I highly recommend adding a month-of coordinator from their staff as well - Kelsey was so helpful jumping in about a month before the wedding to make sure all the vendors had what they needed and all the details were confirmed, and then executed everything on the day so smoothly that my husband and I still can't believe how low-stress the day was for us. You really can't go wrong choosing the St. James as your venue - they've thought of everything to make the planning and execution of an event so much easier!

We had our dream wedding at St. James! I knew from the moment I saw it, I had to get married here. It truly is such a unique and stunning venue, no detail is missed and everywhere you turn is just perfectly designed. The team there is great, everything on our wedding day went off without a hitch, and it was an absolute joy to work with them. Our guests as well were blown away. The only thing I would make note of is what is included in the general venue pricing and what is an add on. For example, you do not get access to the bride and grooms suite until the afternoon without paying for access, certain tables cost more, ect. All was completely fine, just something to be aware of when budgeting! Overall, we loved our experience and are already hoping to have friends and family get married there just so we can go back to this magical space. Thank you St. James!

I got married at the St. James 1898 in July and could not recommend it more! Kate and her team were absolutely AMAZING! Through the entire wedding planning process, Kate and/or a member of her team were so responsive, kind, and eager to make the wedding day I envisioned come to life. The day of was truly a dream come true. Not only is the venue STUNNING in itself, the behind the scenes, was amazing as well. From start to finish, the St. James did not disappoint. I highly recommend it for any event!

We recently attended a Candlelight Concert featuring music by Coldplay here. Phenomenal performance by all members of the string quartet. The venue was stunningly beautiful. Don’t miss this creative and and moving event.
