Went to the Asian Fair and it was fun but very hot! Had to sit in the sun to watch performances on stage. I wish there were more trees for shade and it would be nice if the picnic tables had umbrellas. It would also have been nice if they had done a shuttle for the event as parking was very limited and would be great if they installed an actual restroom instead of having porta potties.

We went to attend the Asian festival here. It was our first time we visited this place. There could have been more provision for shade areas as it was very sunny. Overall the ambience was very good, display of culture from all asian countries was really good. There were dance performances taking place on the stage, it was a fun day event enjoyed it but got a bit dehydrated because the heat.

Very nice outdoor amphitheater with plentiful space on nice grass to sit in the park and enjoy music outside. Good accoustics and lighting for outdoors. There is also a smaller performance area in the back of the park in front of the gardens and fountain. They have a nice little patio with tables and chairs overlooking the pond as well still within the amphitheater area so you can enjoy a picnic and music in the park while overlooking the pond.

A few things you need to know: PARKING is a bit of a mess. Don’t follow the crowds parking far away, drive right up next to the entrance and then look at the local business lots across the street. I made a mistake and ended up walking 15 min each way with a lawn chair in the heat because I followed the crowd but walked past many open spots on the way. Or better yet, Uber or get dropped off. ARRIVE EARLY: before gates open and get in line if you care at all about where you sit. The security lines were super slow and it was already super long when I arrived 15 min after gates opened. Our seats were halfway back and it was almost hard to hear. The speakers are good enough but not loud. VENUE: the grounds are awesome, no mosquitos (they must spray), Stage is big. Had a great time. Event planners - do NOT BLOCK the stage visibility with drink tents! This was poorly planned when there was plenty of room to the side or over by the food trucks. (Indigo Girls concert, Aug 2023)

For the first time we went to music in Plymouth at the Hilde Event Center last night. We had seats that were reserved by my niece in law and so we had plenty of room once we got there late. The Minnesota Orchestra was wonderful and very entertaining There was a special dedication by Zoom for the developer of this venue. The Master of Ceremonies had everyone take out their phones and put it on flashlight mode and Mr. Hilde could see that. Then the whole crowd sang happy birthday to him. Then the main event started. These fireworks were the best that I have ever seen and that is saying a lot. Everyone turned their chairs around so they could get a good view of the fireworks that were over our left shoulder when we were viewing the Orchestra. The soundtrack was pop music starting in the '70s and going through the 2010s. They must have shot off thousands of fireworks. Best show ever! In addition to the orchestra and the fireworks there were food trucks and people brought their lawn chairs and it was truly comfortable. People also brought a lot of dogs which I was surprised at. The whole thing was truly excellent!
