About Target Center

Target Center is a 20,500-capacity multi-purpose arena in downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota, opened in 1990 and significantly renovated in 2017. Home to the NBA's Minnesota Timberwolves and WNBA's Minnesota Lynx, it also hosts major concerts, family shows, and other sporting events. The venue is notable for being one of the first North American arenas with a green roof and features a unique movable floor system to optimize various event setups.

Target Center Reviews

Some of the few things that I like about this location is that there are multiple bathrooms available and customer service. There were staff helping people to find their seats. There were also a lot of staff doing retail work and restocking drinks. There is alcohol (beer, seltzer, and mixed drinks) and food (fries, hamburger, etc.) available. So, the help of directions and purchasing items were easy. The only bad thing is that they allow people to vape during concerts and there is no air ventilation in the seating area. Therefore, during the whole concert, it was steamy, hot, and musty. If you're lucky, I recommend staying in those table spots where it is a bit more spacious. At the end of the concert, they have everyone go down these stairs which lead people outside. It was crowded when going down the steep stairs and luckily, no one was hurt. I definitely recommend getting a drop off if you are ever going to Target Center. To save time and less hassle. They do a good job on security, so ideally, bring less personal items with you if you can. That's all for now!

The home of the Timberwolves was nice stadium. The entrance to the team store was to the right of the sky bridge (shown in the pictures). The stadium is right next to target field where the Twins play. They do offer tours depending in how busy their schedule is so check in advance. They clearly didn't while I was there due to the playoffs.

Went here to see Volbeat and Ghost in February of 2022. Even with the place almost filled, easy to get around. Prices weren’t bad and our seats were great. We got a hotel right near the Target Center and walked across from the parking garage. Plenty of food, hotels, and things to do in the area.

I had a really great time I got tickets in advance for my son and myself it was his first Timberwolves game well mine too actually we had a great experience the only thing is the food is expensive which is expected to be at any type of you and like that. We can't wait to go back for another game!

Yes there's a ton of people. Yes it's hectic. Yes there's a long line at the women's bathroom. Yes the food & drinks are expensive. But there is not a bad seat in the house for concerts! There are a ton of food options if you take the time to walk around, and when you find the burger and fry place, that's the best bang for your buck.
