Saenger Theatre Mobile Concerts 2024-2025

A true piece of history… the place is 97 years old and looking good. The orchestra felt very up close and personal. The sounds were so amazing and appreciated by everyone around. The theater really is nice. We will be back. Rock orchestra by candlelight was an amazing experience.

The seats were spacious enough to be comfortable without elbowing to the person next to you. The location is walking distance from hotels and restaurants. Park once. Parking cost is not so good on my wallet however I see it as paying for the convenience of being able to walk anywhere.

For our first visit to the theatre we went to The Gipsy Kings concert. It is a great venue, not too large with great views of the stage, we were in the balcony and had no issues seeing or hearing. Acoustics were great.

John Chris’ sold out show was great especially in the Saenger atmosphere. However, them folks must have been of short stature cause seats were tight. Beware of where you sit. Get a front row seat…you’ll thank me later!

Seats are comfortable. There is more leg room on the floor level than there is in the balconies. Concession popcorn and drinks are always on point. Ushers are helpful. Paid parking a block away. You can luck up and get free parking even closer if you arrive a little early and don't mind circling the block a few times to find a spot. Meters are free at night and on the weekends.
