The Grounds Concerts 2025

We just happened to be in Mobile AL and saw advertising for The Grounds. It is a huge flee market with a lot of vendors and a wide variety of stuff. We picked up a couple of tall flowering plants at an exceptional price. They had some brand new, used, and antique items.

Attended the 15th Annual Secondliners Ball with family and friends. Facilities was more than adequate to accommodate the thousands of party-goers with parking and seating inside. Really appreciate the paved parking lot.

The Greater Gulf State Fair was fun. We went early, paid for premium parking, and was a short walk to the entrance. There were cute animals, a wide assortment of food venues, and many fun rides. The wait to ride was shorter than expected. We had a blast. The negatives are that one side did not have many places to sit, people were leaving their trash on the tables instead of placing in a garbage can a few steps away causing the workers to have to work twice as hard as they should have, and exiting by car was rather chaotic. Other than that, it was really fun.

They could do a lot more with this place. It's so big. I think because of the area they should put a small community park out front for the kids. They wouldn't be losing any real grounds. More events held there would be nice as well.

If you're going to the Fair Grounds in Mobile Al to the Hannesford Circus don't expect Lions Tigers and Bears. They have goats. cows. And mini horses no tricks no fire some dancing and whatever I missed because I left early this Circus is very very low budget and it's 10 dollars to park so bring cash.
