Uptown Theatre Napa Concerts 2024-2025

We saw Dogstar at the Uptown Theatre. This is a classy small theatre that has plenty of room in between seats. We had a couple of bottles of Mumms champagne. We sat on the left side of the orchestra seating area. Great fun!!

Great little venue, even from way back. Sound carries well with no reverb or echo, and visibility is good from most seats. We were in the balcony, about the 3rd row for the very back and my image shows the stage without zoom. The staff were super nice. Drinks are a little pricey, but the lower ticket price offers that quite a bit.

Outstanding venue for live shows. Has some excellent acts that tour big cities, but seeing them here is a more intimate experience.

We go to a lot of shows all over the Bay Area (usually around 40-50+ a year) and the Uptown is easily our favorite venue. It’s a beautifully restored theater with a fantastic staff of professionals. The house sound system is excellent and sound engineers consistently do an outstanding job. Erica is the manager and I see her before, during and after every show. She’s always there welcoming guests as they arrive and she sees to it that everyone has a great experience every time. Parking is free, easy and safe and there’s a nice selection of great restaurants within walking distance. The Uptown is about 45-50 minutes North of where we live in Walnut Creek. SF has The Fillmore, The Independent, GAMH, The Warfield (and many others) and is a little closer but we don’t feel safe around them any longer. I can’t think of another venue that has it all like the Uptown in Napa.

A great classic venue for live music. Comfortable seats, beautiful theater, well run by staff. They get a lot of talented acts there. Always a good time to go there.
