This venue is amazing! Perfect location for an outdoor venue, even in the rain. Just bring a poncho. Signature drinks were made to perfection! Not really a bad seat anywhere either! Next time, have to try the resturant.

First, the setting is amazing. This venue features beautiful rolling hills and open skies, away from the noise of the city. It is well-constructed and very modern. The sound system is excellent and there are no annoying echoes or interference. Every note played and sang was clearly audible and I was impressed with the overall sound quality. We went last night to see Martina McBride and Carolyn Dawn Johnson. CDJ played an acoustic guitar and had another acoustic guitar player as accompaniment. In the wide-open venue, every note was clearly distinguished and sounded clean; they didn’t struggle for volume. However, there are some things that you should know going in. This was our first trip out to The Amp at Log Still. There are no signs posted for the main parking area, but we were instructed on where to park by someone on the staff. We had arrived early for the concert because the venue is located AT A DISTILLERY with a TASTING ROOM that the website clearly states is open until 5pm on Saturdays. When we arrived, we were informed that the tasting room closed at 2pm since it was a “concert day.” Ok…? We were also informed that we couldn’t park in the parking lot until “a little after 5pm or so.” Now, this location is quite secluded back in some rolling hills and farmland, quite a ways from the nearest town. We didn’t want to drive all the way back to Bardstown, so we just parked away from the venue and waited until we were allowed to pay the $20 for parking. While we were paying, someone on the staff yelled at the volunteers who were working the parking lot and said, “Tell them that the gate time isn’t until 6:30 and they can’t come in until then!!” So, let me make sure I’ve got this right….we can park at 5:00 pm, and there is literally nothing else to do out there for another hour and a half. The gate time listed on the Log Still website states that they “…vary, but are usually 90 minutes prior to show time. Please check the specific event page….” However, there was nothing different listed on the “event page.” It simply links to Ticketmaster. Why is this important to me, you ask? Because my wife needed to use the restroom and the only restrooms are the Porta-Potties that are conveniently located INSIDE THE VENUE. They would not allow her to go in to use them, even though we could see them from where we were standing. Now, another lady walked up a little later and asked if she could go in and use them and she was escorted by one of the workers to the Porta-Potty. Why not just put a couple OUTSIDE THE GATE??? When the concert was really getting going, people were excited and we all stood up, getting into the music that we had paid a lot of money to come hear being performed. Immediately, a staff member came running up the hill and ordered us to sit down on the ground so that the people behind us could see. Uhhh….why do you have the people with disabilities sitting 30 feet BEHIND everyone else? Some people protested this and they were ordered to leave. This made me quite upset. I’ve been to many concerts and people are always encouraged to “get on your feet!”…..etc. Now, everyone else on the hill was standing up, but since we were near the top of the hill, WE were the ones ordered to sit down. They need to find a better arrangement for their guests with disabilities. Oh, yeah, when it comes to standing up…..the “lawn area” isn’t so much of a lawn….it’s more along the lines of an exceptionally steep hill. Several people fell down while we were there, especially after having a few drinks. Be very careful of the footwear you select! It would be very difficult for people who have any degree of difficulty getting around to get to the “lawn area” and navigate that hill without problems, much less if they’re carrying a drink or food with them.

Fantastic show venue! Went to Diamond Rio and Tracy Lawrence. Can't wait for the next season. Easy access in, easy parking, great comfortable seats with plenty of room. Very easy to get out at the end of the show. Food, beer and mixed drinks and of course bourbon is plentiful! Love it!

wonderful facility..but it's desperately needed to get a company with experience to come in and sell beer/drinks..my guess with a lot of experience in this field..you could have almost doubled your beer/drink sales tonight..and you need to explain all the parking better..had a great time
