Colonial Downs Racetrack Concerts

What can I say? It's a nice enough casino with a track for the horses. Haven't been there during a race so can't address that. They have a good enough variety of the video slot machines and my wife really enjoyed them. A little cafe on site and a few bars. Prices are good enough at each.

Neat place, I’m not a huge gambler but I really enjoyed looking at the architecture. Will be going back to see the horse racing live.

I was there for only one race. This was the 1st time I have ever been to a live horse race. Colonial Downs has a good reputation and now I see why. Clean & exciting. There's a huge screen tv there, so you won't lose track of the horses when they're on the far side of the track. Plenty of parking.

This place is super fun! It is so much bigger and nicer than I imagined! Lots of slot machines and if there was a smoking area I didn’t smell it. The program was so helpful for a beginner with even a section on interpreting the data. You can go over to the paddock and look at the horses before the race. We went on a Thursday and it was not crowded at all. I did wonder if there would be enough betting kiosks on a weekend. Will definitely be back (on another weekday!)
