An amazing place for dinner and a show! The fried fish and fried oysters were cooked perfectly and had a nice crisp. The tartar sauce paired very well with the fish. The side of gumbo was flavorful and rich. Their ribeye was also cooked perfectly and had the ideal amount of fat. It was a great cut of meat! The peach cobbler was a fantastic end to the meal. The slice of pie was heavenly. The venue for performances is nice and intimate. If you're going to a show, I'd recommend getting there before doors open because seats fill up quickly. We had an amazing time there!

We had a wonderful evening at Snug Harbor to celebrate our anniversary! We loved the intimacy of the music hall, feeling up close and personal with the band made it so cool! The food was good as well. Snug Harbor was an excellent choice for making memories. Thank you!

Well, we arrived at time of opening at 5pm. Seated, inquired about the jazz act for the evening & ordered. The meal was hot, fresh and very tasty. Fried shrimp platter, crab cakes, jambalaya & side salad were our choices. Waiter was prompt, attentive & courteous. The star minus for four instead of five was the horrendous, disregard of how peach cobbler is cooked & served here and other places in New Orleans. My husband ordered the bread pudding, which was delicious!!! He advise I order the peach cobbler to go. The waiter did warn us earlier that he preferred the bread pudding because he likes crust with his peach cobbler. I am from the north, Chicago and I’m used to peach cobbler with a flaky, crusty pie dough not cake or muffin-like toppings. Please remove this from your menu, it’s an injustice to this dessert that has fans like me assuming peach cobbler is made the same everywhere. No nutmeg, no cinnamon, no brown sugar and no juice were the other missing flavors.

We enjoy visiting Snug Harbor, a cozy jazz club in the Faubourg Marigny neighborhood, near the French Quarter. It's small but has a warm vibe and hosts amazing live jazz acts, including both local favorites and rising stars. We recently caught a show by the Herlin Riley Quartet, and they were absolutely fantastic. We did NOT eat at the restaurant.
We went here for an evening jazz show and stayed for dinner afterwards. The music was so much fun and the food did not disappoint either. A couple recommendations, if you are going here for a show and you want to do dinner before get there 1.5-2 hours in advance and make a reservation. If you want good seats for the show you should also arrive early because it's first come first serve for seats.
