Blue Note Concerts 2024-2025

Went for Sunday Gospel Brunch. Had a really Awesome time. Great experience. Great music. Great food. I can't say enough good things. Will be back! Highly recommend

I recently moved to New York from Hawaii where I originally enjoyed the productions of Blue Note. Tonight, I brought my sister to see Chloe Flower, a beautiful and phenomenal pianist who transcends me with her passion for "Popsicle", her coined term for her integration of popular and classical music. We attended her sold out first show of her Blue Note Debut! The intimate setting of Blue Note further empowered her impact on the crowd through every key stroke. The guest appearance of Caroline Campbell, the violinist, truly elevated the experience. Thank you Chloe for your craft and vulnerability, and thank you Blue Note for setting the stage!

We had heard of this place as a legendary place for world act performances, so we decided the come. The space is not as big and they have a whole lot of tables to accommodate as many people as possible, so that made it seem very tight and cramped. The staff seemed overwhelmed by the amount of people and food that needs to be made and brought to the tables, but they were very kind and professional throughout. In terms of the food, I must say it was extremely overpriced for what it was; the portions were ridiculously small for what we had to pay at the end. The only thing that made it all worthwhile was the Harlem Gospel Choir Performance. The singing was superb and engaging. If I were to come back, I’d spend money on drinks, enjoy the show and go eat somewhere else.

This place just never gets old. We saw Jose James launch 1978. Hear great music affordable and close enough to feel the musician's breadth. Great crowd. All just here to feel the beat! Perfect spot to walk around at night after show. NYU vibe.

I can only comment on the atmosphere, I’m on a budget. The sound is excellent and I was way back in the corner of the bar. You can hear perfectly well over any chatter if there is any. Normally there’s not as everyone is fixated on the musicians. This club is famous in NYC and they seem to keep everything relaxed and elegant.
