Chelsea Music Hall Concerts

Really awesome spot, went here for the first time last night for a friend's bday chill. The vibe and the crowd and the part that night was simply joyous! What more can you want from an urban music venue?!? No pretense just good vibes. Oh and the cocktails were pretty awesome.

Last night I ordered a shot of whiskey on the rocks and the server gave me a bill to sign for before tip in the amount of $25.78. Before I finished my question of simply asking about the high price of the drink, the server (Russian accent/brunette/ looks like Sandra Bullock at first glance) pulled the computer away and snapped at me stating “Tip is included”. I reached out to the venue to no avail so now I’m sharing here :)

Here for a 50th anniversary kf Hip Hop event, and it was such a good vibe! I love when the DJ is positioned where the whole venue can see them. Staff was friendly amd I had a great time.

Bouncer won't let you in if you're black, at least from what I saw 🤷‍♂️. A few black fils in line all told they're at capacity even if you're on the list but if you're white if you can bring about 6-10 people on 😂. Nothing new from the nyc clubbing scene, heard music is iight

This place(especially bouncers) is racist. I was set to work an after party for NYFW and for some reason security thought I was lying, showed my credentials and everything. But they were persistent on not letting me in even if I was working for the promoters for that night. There is much better places to have a great night.
