Cornucopia Majesty Concerts 2024

This was our first time and honestly I didn’t know what to expect so I didn’t expect much. But wow! We had an amazing time, the food was delicious. It did not runout and the DJ was fantastic! We plan on bringing more family members next time so hopefully we can get a bigger table by the dance floor.

I purchased this cruise as a birthday gift for someone who has never been on a dinner cruise before. I even purchased 2 bottles of wine beforehand as I really wanted to make it a special evening. I have been on many dinner cruises before including the Cornucopia when it sailed out of the old dock by the Armory. I was hoping this was the first of many for us. First, the outside area and the bathrooms need updating and cleaning. As you’re boarding you can see packages of produce slumped on top of each other. The smell of gas was off putting. Then, we never left the dock. And no one would tell us what was happening. Someone said it was too windy. I guarantee you it was not, I have been on other dinner cruises with worse weather. Then there were some employees who told my husband how expensive it is to maintain and dock the ship. They are also in desperate need to hire more employees as seen by postings on the ship. This made me think the ship never sailed so they could save money. Nevertheless, I will give 2 stars because our waiter gave us excellent service even though he didn’t speak English. Furthermore, even though the menu was boring, I must say the food was excellent. It was cooked and seasoned perfectly. This came as a huge surprise. I emailed and asked for an explanation on why I paid heavily for a dinner cruise that never left the dock. The website does not say anything about not sailing due to inclement weather (which there absolutely was none that evening). I was hoping maybe for a discount on next cruise but there has been no response. So I implore you to stay away and make the trip up north to the Spirit of NJ or NY. You will have a much better experience.

I had a fabulous time celebrating my birthday! The cruise was lovely, the team was outstanding, and overall, it was a fantastic experience. If you’re considering experiencing this dinner cruise, I highly recommend it. We sailed on a Sunday night in September out of the Hoboken 14th Street pier in the Destiny. We were a group of 19 people, but there were anywhere from couples to large groups, and it was lovely for all. The buffet dinner was excellent, above average compared to other dinner cruises I’ve done, and there was plenty for second servings. We did the premium open bar option, and the drinks kept coming. There were plenty of servers, and they were all happy to please and went above and beyond to ensure the very last of the stubborn candles on my cake were lit. 😊🙌 The music was great; not many people were dancing, but that was the type of crowd we had. The VIEWS are the best views of NYC at night. I’ve lived here for 30 years and had never seen NYC at night look so beautiful. The ship is not as new, but it’s kept well, and the dining room is gorgeous. The only improvement I see as necessary or ideal would be the bathroom. On the dining room floor, there was only one toilet and a single bathroom. It didn’t bother anyone, but perhaps I missed another one on a different floor. Arrive early at the pier to get the most spectacular views and photos! Overall, this was a FIVE-start experience for me and my guest, and I’m so happy I celebrated my special birthday here. You should, too!

It wasn't ideal for the price, they switched our boat to Sundancer which was small and not the on that was advertised to us so that was a bummer. The boat has two floors and we were very crowded together on the upper deck once they were inviting people up to the dance floor. We were not able to fit so remained on the lower deck where the dining area was. The space to move around outside got crowded with less than 10 people. For the price paid they could have done much better. The buffet line was uncomfortable as we were bumping shoulders. All in all the experience did not make up for the charge.

Our community recently celebrated 35th year anniversary on Cornucopia Majesty. This could not have been better experience from beginning to end. The staff and management were courteous, knowledgeable and so pleasant to work with. Team went above and beyond to make this party amazing. This by far exceeded our expectations.
